Short Biography

I received the M. Sc. degree in Telecomunication Engineering from the University of Cantabria in 2001. Then I worked as developer and systems administrator in two companies in Germany. On 2005 I returned to Spain to work as systems administrator at the University of Cantabria. Later I started my PhD in Computer Science, which I obtained in 2015. I spent six months at the High-Performance Computing Center Stuttgart (HLRS). I have also actively participated in several European and Spanish research projects. I am currently an assistant professor in the Dept. of Computer Engineering and Electronics of the University of Cantabria.
